This is the first distribution of our infrequently published newsletter that we plan to distribute when we have a bunch of really good news to share with you. We are going to do our best to keep our newsletters relevant to our relationship with you, and action-packed for your entertainment. Read on to find out about our new referral program, news about our former competitor Vendelo, $5,000 in bonding from BuySafe, and our recent radio commercials on 590 KLBJ AM.
Send us People, We'll Send You Cash
For every new consignor you send our way, we'll pay you 12.5% of the commission we receive from that person's sales, for as long as they trade through the Sellery. On a 40% commission, that's 5% of the total sales price! Got an uncle with an overstuffed garage? Know a woman at the office who collects more than she can connect to? Send them to the Sellery. Everybody wins.
All you have to do is make sure your referred consignor mentions your name and we will take care of the rest. Our software at TheSellery.com tracks referral pay-outs and notifies you of your referred listings. Once you get the consignor to us, your referral checks will seem like free money in your pocket!
For referrals, our website is:

and our phone number is:

We can also take walk-ins at our location at 7901 Cameron Rd 78754, Building 2, Suite 149. We are at the shop between 12:30 and 4:30 Monday through Friday but please call ahead of time before you come just to make sure some one will be there.
$25,000 in Bonding
In early July, The Sellery became bonded through buySAFE's bonding program for eBay trading assistants. Put simply, if we owe you money for a consignment and can't pay you for whatever reason, you can collect your money from buySAFE instead. We have taken this step to further increase your confidence in letting us handle your more valuable consignments.
More information is available about buySAFE's trading assistant bonding program at http://buysafe.com and http://www.buysafe.com/landing/tradingassistant/tradingassistant.html
Be sure to mention our $25,000 in bonding when you are chatting up potential referrals.

The two biggest consignment names in Austin are now one
Back in early June, The Sellery and former competitor, Vendelo ( http://vendeloonline.com ), who was just down the hall from us, came to an agreement that The Sellery will handle all the logistics for Vendelo, effectively merging the two operations. We have been working with Vendelo on making the merger as seamless as possible for users, and we think we've been doing a really good job so far. If you have any comments, compliments, or complaints, please respond to this message and let us know!
Radio Commercials
While we are on the subject of eBay's trading assistant program, last month eBay's Trading assistant program ran an advertisement on 590 KLBJ AM on weekdays between 6AM and 10AM promoting their trading assistant program. Since The Sellery is the #1 eBay consignment game in Austin ( see http://ebaytradingassistant.com/directory/index.php?page=advancedSearch ), we reaped 100% of the benefit of these commercials. Those of you who found out about us from these adverts know who you are. We would like to take this opportunity to issue you a warm welcome to to using our service. We hope you are satisfied with the way things are going, and we look forward to handling your consignments long into the future.
Oh, and if you didn't hear the commercial, you can listen to it here:
