eBay item numbers

What is it?

Every listing on eBay is uniquely identified by a 12-digit string of numbers. If you have an item number, you can search eBay for the item number to find the listing.

Where to find it

  • Listing pages: The item number is displayed on the upper-right corner on each listing:

  • Sold Items - the item number can be found before the title of the listing:

  • Inventory Browser:
