How to handle a drop-off at the shop

Consignments should be put into the inventory system as soon as possible. If it is not possible to put the consignor's items into inventory immediately, they should be placed on the incoming inventory shelf for delayed processing.

The incoming inventory shelf for delayed processing has multiple shelves, each marked with a day of the week. Consignments should be placed on the shelf labeled with the day of the week that the consignment was dropped off or picked up. At the start of each day, any inventory from the previous week that still remains on the shelf should be cleared off the shelf, either by putting the remaining items into inventory, or contacting the consignor for pick-up or donation clearance.
