How to perform a local pick up

  • Before your depart:
    • get the following information from a manager or the consignor:
      • P.O.C. Name
      • P.O.C. phone number
      • street address of pick-up site
      • communicate with the consignor about the size of the vehicle required for local pick-up
        • If you do not have immediate access to a vehicle capable of handling the pick-up, consult with a manager.
    • go through this checklist of pick-up tools and supplies:
      • gloves
      • dolly
      • sufficient padding to protect the consignments and your vehicle; e.g. Towels, sheets, or blankets
      • business cards
  • After the pick-up, but before you leave the site:
    • collect your $25:
      • ask a manager if the consignor is expecting to pay $25 cash, or if they would rather have the amount deducted from their pay-out. Upon the latter case, when you are finished with your pick-up, notify a manager to add $25 credit to your pay-out balance

Shop drop-offs by appointment are also subject to local the local pick-up fee. The agent that initially engages the consignor is due the local pick-up fee.
