Proper packing
From The_Sellery_wiki
Standards
- Smaller items should be placed in ziplock bag to prevent peanuts from getting in
- Larger items should be covered in stretch-wrap to prevent preanuts from getting in
- If over 50 lbs be sure to include flattened boxes on each side as an extra wall of protection for the item
- If item punctures single wall box be sure to order a DOUBLE Wall box for your item
- Allow for at least 2 inches of padding between item and inner-walls of the box
- Final packed item should be able to survive a drop of at least 2 feet unharmed inside your box
- The package should have no empty space inside. Empty space allows the item to move around inside and allow the box to collapse
Consequences
The cost of shipping will be deducted from the worker's pay-out account if damage to the item is determined to be the fault of the worker.
